Common questions
When is the personal tax deadline?
Generally April 30. If you or your spouse or common-law partner are self-employed, the filing deadline is June 15, but any balance owing is still due April 30.
I haven't filed for a few years. Can you help?
Yes. We can prepare and file late or prior-year returns and, where appropriate, discuss CRA's Voluntary Disclosures Program.
I'm new to Canada. Do I need to file?
Generally yes, for the year you became a resident. Filing is also often needed to receive benefits such as the GST/HST credit and the Canada child benefit.
Can you deal with CRA for me?
Yes. Once you authorize us through CRA's representative process, we can communicate with CRA and handle the correspondence.
